Gordana Sokic
加拿大溫哥華不列顛哥倫比亞大學「英語為第二語言」教學碩士。在歐洲和北美從事英語為附加語言(EAL)教育工作超過30年,學生來自世界各地的各個年齡層。目前在加拿大新威斯敏斯特道格拉斯學院擔任學術英語課程講師,並為未來的EAL教師協調該課程。研究興趣包括系統功能語言學、語法隱喻和讀者寫作方法。
About the Author: Gordana Sokic has been an English as an Additional Language (EAL) educator for over 30 years in Europe and North America. She has taught English to students of all ages from all over the world. She currently is an instructor for the English for Academic Preparation program at Douglas College in New Westminster, Canada, and also coordinates the program for future EAL teachers. She holds a master’s degree in Teaching English as a Second Language from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. Her research interests include systemic functional linguistics, grammatical metaphors, and the reader approach to writing.)
